FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sept. 14, 2016 – PRLog — Lineus Medical™ will be exhibiting its product, the SafeBreak™ I.V., at the Association for Vascular Access (AVA) Conference in Orlando, FL September 17-19, 2016. The annual AVA conference is the largest meeting for nurses, doctors and other medical personnel focused on establishing and maintaining vascular access to patients. This will be the first meeting where Lineus Medical will display its initial product, the SafeBreak I.V., which is designed to reduce the rate of I.V. dislodgement.

During the trademark filing process, the company became aware of a trademark conflict with another medical device company in the vascular access space. Jones stated, “We decided the best path forward was to change the company name to Lineus Medical. Our technology is adaptable and will be applied to a myriad of medical tubing, so we wanted to go with a name that represents our broad vision. The name Lineus Medical represents our corporate goal of eliminating medical line dislodgement and protecting all medical lines. The timing of this name change is ideal because we will be presenting Lineus Medical for the first time to potential customers at this week’s AVA conference.”
